Current water temp south shore Oahu ?

Title says it all. Will be there next week and wondering about water temp

Looks like about 79^o currently. NOAA Tides and Currents - Honolulu, HI - Station 1612340

I've been getting 72-74 on my dive computer consistently for the past few months. My last dive was Monday and I got 73 just off of Waikiki. I don't know where that buoy is located...but 79 seems off for this time of year.

It appears to be in a bay so that may account for the temp. difference.

I wonder how deep those buoys measure temp. Surface temp could be 79. But at 80-100fsw, I would say 72-75.
