Just an initial hello. I signed up to ScubaBoard today. I used to do a fair amount of diving a few years ago. Got away from it for a lot reasons. Now, I'm getting back into it and this looked like a good forum to join. I'm looking forward to discussions and learning for more experienced divers.

Howdy!

Glad you're getting back in the water, lots of discussions you can take part of in here!
Welcome to the forums!

Happy diving!

drrich2, thanks for taking the time to send a welcome. I appreciate that. I see you're from KY. I grew up in FL, but actually got certified in 2001 in Florence, KY. Spent a lot of weekends in quarries. You learn the practical meaning of thermocline and limited visibility. But, diving is diving and it does make you appreciate the tropics.

Lucas, thanks for the reply - all the way from Malta. It gives me a real appreciation of the power of the internet. It is also amazing that you get to share with and learn from people all over the world. These forums are an amazing tool.
