I got in a wetsuit for the first time over the weekend & snorkeled in Mermet Springs , IL during DUI's DemoTour, met Dick Long & got to see how amazing the diving community is. It was an awesome experience & I cannot wait to get certified next year! I would do so this year if it weren't for having had rotator cuff surgery in June, it has put a damper on more than one event this year 
My husband got certified this year, much to my jealousy, so he was able to participate in the trying out of the DemoTour's fitting & testing out drying suits. We met a lot of GREAT people while at the DemoTour & have plans to return to Mermet Springs when we can both dive. Mermet Springs is an amazing place to dive or snorkel.
