Hello from Central Florida

New to the site, but, not new to the saltwater....Lived in Boston prior to settling in landlocked Central Florida...I do have a boat and get out of New Smyrnah as much as possible.Main reason for visiting the site I was looking for a ship my Dad was sunk in 1942 off Key West, the USS Sturtevant. He survived, 15 didn't and he told me alot about the sinking so ii would like to visit the site and touch part of my Dads' 30 years in the Navy...Sad it took me so long.

I tried a search here: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/florida-conch-divers/, for info on the Sturtevant, but didn't find anything. I would go to the same place and start a thread asking for information about it. Lots of local experts in here.
