Looking for suggestions for dive sites near Bangkok!

Hi all! I'm currently working abroad in Thailand and am going to be spending some time in Bangkok in the next few months. I am in need of some local advice on good dive sites near the area. I know Pattaya has been mentioned, but I've also heard some not so great things about the town in general and not sure I want to travel there. Anything else worth checking out besides Pattaya?

I am going to be in Bangkok on business March 1 - 10. Was hoping to get out for a quick dive day. Any suggestions nearer to the city?
