Hello everyone!
I have been diving since 98 when I did my first OW dives in Bonaire. I have this week traveled to Kingston and Brockville for some shipwreck diving. Frances decided to make it really windy and rainy, so only 3 of 7 dives were possible... :banghead:

Looking forward to meeting some new people here on the board and finding some locations to visit based on others' experieinces!

JC

Welcome to our little part of the web! Check out the "Great Lakes Wrecking Crew" section of the board and you'll find a bunch of cool people who like to dive the local area. There is a "meet and greet" scheduled in September at Portage quarry so cruise through the threads in that section for the exact date (weekend of Sept 25 I believe) and come on down to meet us!

Hello and welcome to ScubaBoard! I think that you will be able to learn a lot here, and hopefully be able to post some of your own experiences as well. My name is Kayla, and I have been diving for two years. If you have any questions of problems.. or just want to chat, PM me! Otherwise, I hope to get to know you better around the boards!

Safe diving!

:sunny Hi there! My name is Matt. Welcome to Scuba Board! I came here looking for help with my diving dream. I’ve met a lot of nice divers and many helpful divers too. I think you will get the information you need from SB. I look forward to reading more of your posts about your diving adventures. If you’d like to chat, please PM me.
I am looking forward to seeing you some more around the boards!

Welcome to Scubaboard,
I have met a lot of really nice people through the local dive clubs section, and I'm sure you will be able to do the same.
This is a wonderful place to share surface intervals.
Sorry to hear that you got hit by the hurricaine.
At least you won't be here for Ivan as well
Take care,
-Mike

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Check out our Great Lakes Wrecking Crew forum to meet divers in you area and find out what's going on locally.

I'm sorry to hear that some of your dives were cancelled due to Frances, but glad to hear that you at least got to do about half of your planned dives.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Completing your Profile and seperately - keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving discussions. PM me if I can help you learn your way around.

Hi JC.

Welcome to Scubaboard and the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew from another SE Michigan diver. That's a real bummer about Kingston. But, I know it's worth another try soon.

Looking forwarding to meeting and diving with you.
Paula

Welcome to Scubaboard flipperjc. This is a great community of divers from around the world. As the others have already pointed out, there is a Forum that is here on the board that deals with your geographic area where you can find buddies or share local information.
