Hey all we went on a cruise to St. Maarten and had chosen to dive with Octopus, we arrived on the french side and got a cab to the Dutch side. While it wasn't too bad it wasn't too great getting there it took about 20-25mins travel time to make it there and when we got there it really got great! Their service and attention to detail is second to none! We arrived at the shop, filled out the appropriate paperwork and made a short walk to the boat (also where the keep gear) All the gear was well kept and neatly stored. All of their stuff was name brand and nicely maintained (no junk here) we got our gear and went to the boat ( you have to wade to the boat) no big deal you're gonna get wet anyway! The boat is basically brand new, or it looked it anyway, it was very well maintained. we boarded and made a short drive to our 1st dive site. A VERY thorough briefing was given and we went in. There is a LOT of marine life where we were at and our guide was very knowledgeable and good about pointing it all out. we got back on and did our 2nd dive and then boarded up and returned. I cannot express enough how great these folks were to dive with I would HIGHLY recommend them and hope to see them again in the future. Thanks to Sally (although she was gone when we were there she was a lot of help scheduling) Chris, and Stu! R&R Rhodes
