Please advice what dive light to get.

Budget of $1 to $150

I was looking at the UK kinetics Cannon 100 but I was told it uses
8 C cell batteries. That would be very heavy and long.

Lumens higher than 200 please

Did you just need a light for general use? The light Cannon is not heavy in the water.

Get a UK C8 eLED...its not too big, its relatively cheap and pretty bulletproof...only 130 lumens...but what the heck...

All the 8 c cell lights I've seen are two batteries long, and 4 batteries in diameter. HID bulbs are pretty good if you're careful not to bang your light, and use your light through the whole dive. Halogens lights are better for turning the light on/off durring the dive, but still want lots of light. LED lights can offer good light for the burn time of the batteries. I like my Shockwave LED, but the Light Cannon is quite a bit brighter.

Thank you folks...

went ahead and ordered a cannon w/ rechargable batteries.

Get UK C8 eLED its not too big...burned time 8 hours
