They actually released several new cameras/updated models. These new offerings look much improved. Hopefully performance issues have been addressed as well. Several of the news ones look like they will be good uw cameras.

Fantasea is working on having a housing out for the new P6000 as soon as possible.

This type of camera along with the new Oly news for micro 4/3 systems is beginning to realize the digital promise. Pro level cameras like this are sorely needed between huge, complicated dSLRs and the toy P&S.

If there are decent housings that allow the camera to utilize ultra wide and wide angle and macro lenses I will buy one. I am excited by this camera, big enough to hold in your hand, hopefully more natural controls, still smaller than a bulky dSLR.

They need to get rid of on/off buttons. You should be able to see a UFO, reach for your camera and push the shutter button and take the picture. I cannot wait five minutes for the cameras to wake up, greet me, have some coffee, ask me how my day is, remind me of a buisness meeting, do a self diagnostic check, sell me some shoes and then finally come up for operation. Heck, the UFO is gone. My Nikon FM and Leica film cameras would have already fired off full 36 exposure rolls and I would be reloading before all the buttons on a dSLR could be located and the camera turned on. I don't need 5,000 bad images, just the one good one.

N - thanks for the chuckle from your vivid description! Loved it

FWIW my dslrs are ready to go as soon as I hit the button - haven't missed a shot due to "sleeping" yet But they are bulky for sure.
