Did two kayak dives at S. Monastery today. Vis was about 20+ or so on both dives. Dive 1 was 70 fsw near the edge of the trench, number two was 66 fsw a bit closer to shore. Quite green and very dark under the canopy. Water temp at depth saw 52-55ish. Surface was a little windy with chop and a bit of swell. Every critter was eating as much as they could. Tons of fish out, lots of egg yoke jellies. And every barnacle was stuffing itself. Beach temp was 60's or so with wind and fog. Great day in the back yard...
