Besides cosmatic changes, what are the differences between these 2nd stages? Is service interval still 2 years/300 dives for B1?

There is a slight difference in the housing. The B2 has the high flow version. Everything else is cosmetic and have the same service interval.

any pratical difference due to the high flow housing?

Not that I have seen. I have used both and have not noticed a difference. But I have not done any rigorous ad hoc tests.
