Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow

...and by gold I mean a bunch of garibaldi of course! Had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving weekend undersea on Catalina. Really made me fall in love with California diving all over again. Gimme a kelp forest shimmering in the sunlight over a Caribbean reef any day! Had so much fun I actually caught myself Googling Avalon job openings today, though not with much success. Maybe one day I'll get to live the good life like Dr. Bill

Catalina is one of my favorite places. I can't wait to go back. Thanks for the vid.

I can see why... I'm in San Simeon filming the elephant seals and it is COLD down here... can hardly wait to see the temps further north!
Dr. Bill: I once had a 6-pack but now I have a full keg... well, maybe just a pony!
Dr. Bill: Not THAT kind of doctor... but I'll take a look at it anyway!

Kelp forest marine life images, DVD's for sale, and archived "Dive Dry with Dr. Bill" newspaper columns

Whenever California feels cold I just remind myself of the poor saps diving wet in Puget Sound and then I feel a few degrees warmer
