I thought I would post a collection of shots taken from my recent trip to PNG. I had to chance to dive a wreck of B-25 Mitchell bomber call the "Green Dragon" which crashed during WW2. I was given a brief history of the story of the wreck and its crew which interested me to look for more. My grandfather served with the Australian Army in PNG and this gave me more of a special interest to the story.
I found this story about the green dragon: B-25D-1 "Green Dragon" Serial Number 41-30118
Starboard engine
Cockpit
Top turrent guns
Dive buddy Laurie in the Cockpit
50cal Tail gun.
Interesting coral next to the wreck
The wreck was in great condition and I wished I looked as good when I am 65 years old.
cheers Mark
