The fool cat is out playing in the rain!!! She is sopping wet and doesn't seem to care anymore! This is where it gets scary. She has a Banded water snake by the head and it's trying to escape. These snakes look JUST LIKE a moccasin with the only variation being the shape of the head. I was a bit alarmed and even then, the snake is almost big enough to see her as food. I don't know how she managed it, but I don't give the snake very long to live.

You can keep a kitty tied up inside for soo long then they go wild looking for some other stimulus. The fact she's in the rain soaking wet and chasing snakes says it all! My poor kitties went out on the back porch just in time for the hardest of the rains to which i laughed evilly as I closed the door and watched them run around the deck for a few minutes realizing there was no place to hide.. they forgave me last night though, they wailed in my room by the glass door to the deck again till i let them out to play under the full moon..... that went away to rain again.

:rofl3: Oh man, that has me laughing outloud at work! :rofl3:
That does it, I'm having Xavier call you

Talk to Becky, I hear Fay asked her where to go to get into the Atlantic (Becky is in GA right now) and the results are now visible...:10:

It never fails the rain and storms always follows me everytime:shakehead: I was planning on going home but if I do she will follow me back down.:( Best I stay put :coffee:for my fellow divers who want to dive Venice beach this weekend.
I hope the rain stops at Doc's house or someone might need to help him with sand bags. We have had rain everyday here but the winds are not bad, as soon as the winds calmn down on the hwys I will be heading home.

Interestingly enough, I went to check the creek and it is back within it's banks. I guess something down stream opened up! Yay!

I am in flagler, were in the eye right now but earlier gusts to 50. No power outage yes but just over 2 feet of rain this morning and defanitely no diving or fishing on my day off from work.

Sounds like kitty got the best of the snake. My dog tried to bring a coral snake into our house to show us what he caught. He was so proud of himself... I still laugh reminiscing my wife screaming at the dog... "Buddy! What's that in your mouth?" "Buddy! Don't take that into the house!" "Buddy! Get outside!" :rofl3:

The lake behind my house is not going down! :11: Right now it about 6 feet up from where it has been for the past 2 years!

I just came in from salvaging my boat, the battery to the bilge pump died so It had filled with water and the lake was beginning to overflow the transom! A trip to Discount Auto Parts and 15 bucket bails later it's back afloat :D the bilge pump is working like charm with my new battery.

If it doesn't stop raining, I'm going to start my own dive op. in the back yard :rofl3:

Maybe I'll call it Cousteau springs :rofl3::rofl3::rofl3: or 1 fathom grotto :rofl3::rofl3:

Heres some video from yesterday and today. Today's is a bit fuzzy as I took it with the camera in a plastic bag. Notice the Darwin candidates out surfing, and even worse, the swimmers by the pier. Lucky they didn't get tossed into the thing. Idiots.

You may have spoken too soon. Heard there was at least one person that did not make it out. Don't know if it was the same guys you saw or not. Too sad. Gust are really bad here in Mandarin. They've closed Buckman Bridge. Glad I live and work on this side of the river! Of course I just learned that I now have the day off tomorrow! :D

Fay's track across Florida

Frosty's Friend (Jacob) was finally able to discern Fay's track from here on out.
