Hey Byran,

A spot opened up on the PV dive the 15th come join us.

John

Thanks for the invite John, I was originally signed up for the trip but I have a business trip that I'm leaving for on that day.

I definitely need to get wet. Too much business travel lately, not enuff swimmin'!

Where ya thinking of going?

They said heavy marine layer this past Sun & it was sunny & warm all day. Half of the dive is just showing up, you never know what will happen.

My friend Ken and I are planning on diving Malaga Cove on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Does anyone want to join us ... or is there a better location? PM me if anyone is interested.

Before you commit to Malaga, check out what the water looks like from the gazebo. I've made one dive there and attempted to make multiple other dives....each time, the water has been like chocolate milk (i.e. can't see your buddy unless they're kicking you in the face....even good lights would not cut through the stuff!). I hear it's a great site when the visibility is good, but I've never seen the water look even decent.

If the water looks bad, you can hit Vet's....not the most interesting site sometimes, but can be great if you slow down and look carefully.

I see high tide is about +5 feet at about 7am....White Point would probably be doable (the higher the tide the better....but the surf looks like it should be non-existent, which will definitely help), but I'd recommend trying to get out closer to 9am, rather than meeting or getting in at 9am.

Those are the only PV locations that I really know of (other than OML which will not be open to the public for a little bit).

So...
Anybody gonna want to dive Saturday? You still interested in diving Bryan?
