What's the best light money can buy?

Just out of curiosity, what's the best divelight out there?

I dive in Norway where the water is pretty dark and green, so a good light is a must. Just asking this question if it's doable for my wallet..

In your conditions I would say a HID.
Green and dark waters,HID has the best penatration.

+1. A 10w is what most people start with, but you can pick up lights that will turn night into day...literally. Salvo products are outstanding.

50 watts will light things up. Now there is a cost for such a light but you asked for the best to light things up.

A canister light is the way to go. Look around and decided what fits you needs and budget.
