LOL

Yeah, it looks a tad grander than the turn of the century hulk on the bottom of the mouth of P'Cola pass...

yep, might take a little more water to cover that one up!

What are the depths? My nephew is going to be boat diving with me (I'm trying to plan for him.) and he's only Jr OW.... Limited to 40', but has several dives to 60'+-.... I figure if we get a DM, he might be able to go to the little bit deeper dives.

Man, love the stuff you've posted on VIMEO. I'm like a little kid at Christmas waiting on new video to posted of local sites. Thanks.

I'd have to check, but I would be amazed if I went deeper than 30ft. Probably 25ft max. The thing about the Mass is that you have to hit it just right, and have a little luck on your side. It's proximity to the mouth of Pensacola Bay make it susceptible to currents and viz issues that are not such a problem further out.

That being said, It is a great site, and I could have spent several more hours there exploring and not have a full grasp of what all is at the site. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore.

I would recommend a knife or cutting tool. There are several cast nets entangled down there, and there's plenty of monofiliment to go around too.

My buddy checking out the new gun-mount cam

Hetland is correct on this. Conditions can change quickly at this sight. Walter (wjeffries) and I were diving this sight almost two years ago. The tide turned so quickly and strongly during the dive, that we could not get back to the anchor line. We tried a few times and couldn't see the line or swim against the current.

Oh yeah, it was also on this dive where Bugman was attacked by a crazy starfish!
