Maybe we can get together down the line. You see I have medical issues (mainly arthritis) and it's difficult for me to carry my tank(that's the only thing) once I'm in the water I'm ok. but I don't think this excursion is for me. It seems I don't have the indepence or experience required.

This has happened everytime I have tried to work with you. Respectfully, please do not ask for my assistance, guidance or advice any longer. I took you off the trip, as you requested.

Additionally you can board with your gear on, if you choose to and there is no back roll required. This has happened NO TIME. The only time I planned on diving with you was at Spanish Rocks last year and you left me stranded to go dive with other divers. Luckily Sadie and onespeed where there and they dove with me. Maybe it's time to stop by and pay up too.:depressed:

They are not here as the "uber" divers, if you will. They are here to keep things ToS friendly. Further, everyone that assists SB is a volunteer. It is your choice to attend or not attend the M & G's. They are there for everyone, yourself included, and always have been since day one they were started (and always will be).

This has happened NO TIME. The only time I planned on diving with you was at Spanish Rocks last year and you left me stranded to go dive with other divers. Luckily Sadie and onespeed where there and they dove with me. Maybe it's time to stop by and pay up too.:depressed:

She left you stranded?????????????? You are absolutely amazing Rachael. Absoltuely freakin' amazing. Earlier yesterday you make a statement that you have not been able to find any kind dive buddies and now you come up with this. Let me refresh your memory a bit. Since I'm already unkind I won't bother attempting to be nice. You did not do a proper gear check before entering the water. When we all got out to the water and were about to descend, we found your Octo to be free flowing. I and a few other divers out there tried to correct it but couldn't. Being the totally unkind bastard that I am, I opted to walk you back to shore (which meant carrying your gear along with the 30 or more pounds of lead in the pockets) so I could get tools out of my truck and attempt to fix it. Once we got to shore, the incredibly unkind Sadie showed up. Being the heartless individual she is, she also tried correcting the free flow issue but was also unable to. In an act that can be considered nothing but cold hearted, she then rigged up your Octo in a way that would allow you to dive. Then Sadie and I, hereafter referred to as Unkind Wench and Unkind Bastard, then took you back out to the water for a dive. Unkind Wench and Unkind Bastard essentially sacrificed their entire first dive that day to help you get in the water and get some experience diving and hopefullly enjoy yourself a little bit. They basically kept you in an underwater cocoon of safety so if you had any problems whatsoever they could help you out.

People like you seriously piss me off. Reef, Reef's wife, MissD, Sadie, Bob, me and others I can't even think of off hand have bent over backwards to befriend you, be kind to you, assist you with diving, get you in the water, etc... and you just stomp all over all of that for...I don't know what for. Apparently MissD didn't kiss your butt properly yesterday so now you are going to trash everyone as a result? I don't want you at any Meet and Greets. Please, stay away from them. The Meet and Greets are for friendly people who want to make friends, discuss diving, have a good time, plan dives, and in general be happy. I don't get the impression you are looking for any of those things.

You are so wrong.:depressed: I have not bad mouth everyone. You and Sadie were WONDERFUL to me. I know you sacrificed your first dive. And it was you who started the post on the problems I had with my gear, remember? It was my first time out. Reef has invited me out to Spanish Rocks but our schedule hasn't clicked. Reef and Tara are very kind. Even though you are being unkind with your words right now, I know is because you have misunderstood me. I don't hold that against you. I do want to go to have a good time with everyone. The main thing that I said is that I have not been able to find a buddy. By that I means someone to go out on a regular basis. Not that no one has been there for me. NO one has bent over backwards to befriend me. That's not necessary I'm no one special. I would just like to be part of the crowd and contribute to the group. Please don't think of me the way you are. If you really knew me you would see the way you are. I hope you give me the opportunity to show you how I really am. PLEASE don't just disregard me. When the situation with Spanish Rocks occured I thank you and Sadie. Because you were so kind on the first dive I stayed out on the second and "babysited" the keys for several divers while they dove.
