There were a lot of inaccuracies and inconsistencies in those threads. We did not feel that they represented the best of our Reg threads.

...is absolutely gold and should be standard reference IMHO. It seems to have been thrown out with the bathwater

...is essential reference and would benefit everyone tremendously if it were visible. Maybe repost as a thread and sticky? Couv, herman, DA Aquamaster and Luis H all contributed to it.
