Is he serious or stupid...

I go with

C) :dramaqueen:

I bet people on the whaler could write a dramatic piece and make us feel bad for them.

To hear him tell it they were just out having a little fun and have no idea why the whalers would be upset. Is he serious or stupid...or maybe thinks we are stupid.

He is STUPID!!!!!

Did we read the same article?

"We were engaging with the whaling ships pretty much the whole day, especially the Nisshin Maru, the big factory ship.

"We hadn't been quite successful because there was whaling going on throughout the whole day and at a certain point we had to discontinue because we were running low on fuel.

"We decided to go back to Hobart to refuel, but before that we decided to wave to the Bob Barker, our sister ship, to say goodbye to the crew on there because we hadn't seen each other for a long time.

"As the Bob Barker was moving along, two of the harpoon ships moved along as well and there was the Shonan Maru passing us as well.

"All of a sudden that ship decides to steer straight to us at full speed.

I did read it and I didn't say I was quoting him-I was describing his attitude. 'Like hey, were out here, low on fuel, waving to our friends and then BAM!!!'

Not much to add; just that 35 straight posts in the same thread in about 26 hours must count for something?

That people love whales? Either as the majestic creatures that they are, or on a dinner plate.
