What is the best product for deodorizing gear?

I use Odor Away ($11.50 for an 8-ounce bottle), but my booties still smell like gerbils crawled into them and died.

Gotta figure there is a common household product that someone has found to work great and not damage gear.

Thanks,

FR

I'd check out JoAnne fabrics store...:D It's just probably your feet.

You try Fabreeze? There are a lot of products out there that are for pet odors and such that have enzymes for getting rid of odors. Are you talking about wet boots or dry boots?

equate (walmart brand) listerine...i put it in the rinse water whenever i wash my suit / booties. when things are really rank, mirazyme or sink the stink work pretty well, too.

Thanks. I never thought of Listerine, but that makes sense. I recall when they advertised it as doing just about everything, including being useful as a "hair tonic." Never quite knew what a hair tonic was supposed to be, but I guess I am dating myself just by mentioning that I remember that.
