I do not know where to start with the humor on this one.....
Sounds like the fella got into a real "tangle" <tuna snags diver> of a mess. Good thing the tuna was catholic <jew fish comment> so the diver could say his penance and not be struck down <again, dragged down> by his genitals <tuna can comment>....jeez, I could go on forever....too funny!!

I also hope he fully recovers. But the weirdness of this is off the, uh, scale.

Don't worry, the canned tuna is cooked thus so would the genitalia...so if he were German or Norwegian chances are you wouldn't notice...a little onion, mayo and pepper.

I am thinking: if this was me, and even if I did have a speargun clipped in to a D ring, at about the point I hit 180 feet and still descending... if I can't cut the line, I am shedding the entire rig and heading for the surface...

Hmmm, isn't this skill part of the Padi spear hunting specialty class? Apparently this fellow went spear fishing without taking the class.

He has that in the title of his book, they do some pretty impressive hunting of some large fish. There are so many pictures that would be once in a lifetime for the average diver to just see, if they were lucky, he has pages of them. He did a video presentation at the Blue Wild Seminar, fantastic!!
