Denise - you might be interested to know that someone had, what I now call "A Denise" event on Sat, while doing a discover scuba at the Destin Jetties.

Thankfully, like your event, they got the person to the hospital in time...and last I heard, while in intensive care, they were recovering.

From the Instructor that was with the person, they had almost the identical set of symptoms.

I am glad they are ok. The Destin Jetties might be a bit much for a discover scuba class. There are alot of variables. Some of them are cold water and strenuous diving that induces an Immersion Pulmonary Edema in some people. I had done alot of both before and after my IPE. If this happened the first time someone tried diving, I doubt they would want to try again.

You are correct! My children and their friends know how to party like their Mom!! We had Mexican food and beer Saturday night and I gave up and went to bed around 2am. Some of them were still up in the hot tub and pool. On Sunday they cooked for me and then when the last one left I went to bed yesterday.....for many hours.
