Interesting video DD. I have never heard of this drugs' abuse potential until reading this thread. Hopefully it will not become another villain or scapegoat in the league of the drug Propafol after Michael Jackson's death. Both of these drugs offer tremendous benefits in the medical field-especially during surgery. Sometimes a few bad apples ruin it for the rest of us. Hopefully somebody will find a way to get Scopace or an equivalent for us unfortunate ones who tend to get violently sea sick.

DAN members, from the Spring 2012 Alert Diver Magazine, Page 12, under Scopolamine Update, there's a letter on this from member H. Resnick, PharmD, RPH, CPH, and amongst other things it notes those requiring oral scopolamine should contact PCCA - Professional Compounding Centers of America - Chemicals, Devices, Equipment, Supplies, Consulting, CEUs, Management, Marketing, Training for Compounding Pharmacy to locate a compounding Pharmacist. You will need a legitimate prescription from your Physician. www.paccarx.ca if you're in Canada.

Thanks to H. Resnick (in case he sees this on the forum, or anybody here knows him) for his info.

Richard.

As a simple chemical name, propofol is not capitalized. It's US brand name is Diprivan, marketed by AstraZeneca.

I used to wear the patch when I went out wreck diving in Jersey. The patch had terrible side effects and I finally figured out it was better to be seasick then wear the patch and then I got even smarter I stopped diving in Jersey.

I used to be a Northeast wreck diver also. Then with added years came warmer water.

Harro - this thread scared me for a minute before I looked at the date of your original post - hahah! Hope you are doing well :)
