I don't know if I'm technically considered 'northern' (probably one of the highest though.... hehehe), but it got to be over 100 today... and probably at least 8-10 times in the last 2 weeks! What I'm NOT looking forward to, is the humidity, YUCK! Did anyone check the weather report for Coz? It's kind of giving me the sad face!

Cardzard and I are in florida, so you're all northern to us. :D

And don't worry about the humidity, you're hair will be wet most of the time anyway.

Oh you really don't even want to know! I'm bringing boxing gloves, samurai swords, brass knuckles, and maybe a bow staff! :rofl3: I pretty much gave up on fighting with it in Mexico, I'll probably just wear a hat most of the time, hahahahaha!

For the newbs to Cozumel, you need to be careful when you get into the lobby at the airport. 1st, the timeshare folks act like they want to help you and keep trying to grab you. Say "no thank you" and keep walking really fast. In the lobby, turn right and go to the last window on the left and you can buy a ticket for the "bus" (shuttle van). It is much cheaper than prepaying for the exact same ticket with your travel agent. See Ya!

Mango_Mango and I just hauled our suitcases out onto the street and caught a taxi, it's $10 to Hotel Cozumel from the Airport if I remember correctly?

Well, I'm more or lessed packed for my Cozumel/Riviera Maya Adventure trip that begins on tomorrow. Just a few odds and ends left, but I'm sure I'll be running to the store a few more times between now and tonight. Already had DAN insurance, and just purchased travel/medical insurance. Damn, I can't wait til tomorrow. Just hope I can get a good night's sleep. Fat chance that'll happen based on previous vacations. LOL!

Pans, are you ready?

Pans, are you ready?

Woke up this morning and started replacing some zip ties and cave line on my gear, cut some pants into shorts, cut some sleeves off some shirts... scuba gear is packed, and everything else is laid out and now I'm out of beer. Time for me to go to the store, too! :D I don't think I'll be getting any sleep tonight either... I might just go out and catch my Z's on the plane.

Today must be packing day :D

I retied a few bolt snaps, replaced some batteries, found spare stuff I bring in its clever hiding spot, and pulled luggage out this morning. I just noticed my scuba bag was torn somewhere between Malaysia and Texas last fall. Costco refunded it with no receipt to store credit at least...had to go there anyway. Pretty cool of them!

Aside from some odds and ends, we are ready to go!

Yes, it is. I just started to pack, aka grab the first bag from one my "scuba rooms" :rofl3:. I still have to take my bp apart to replace 2 rubber bands :(, now I I got figure out what I did with those rubber bands :bash:

FWIW, 50Fathom showed me a trick where you could feed the bicycle tube bands up the over the buckle and up the webbing without taking it all apart.
