I'm hoping the nauticam housing for it comes out in time for me to get it before my march trip. If it does, will have to decide if I want to sell a brand, spanking, never been using housing or keep it as a spare.

If the canon housing lets you access all commands and takes wet lenses what is the benefit of the nauticam housing?

i was searching around for prices for the g15 housings and found this. Fantasea is going to make housing. Seems interesting and similar price to ikelite.

I posted that into on another thread a few weeks ago but thought they would be bringing it out at a lower price.

However, unlike the Ikelite housing, their's will give y ou access to the front dial and has the same type of locking mechanism that the Oly and Nauticam housings have which I really like!

If you want to chose between the Ike and Fantasea, I would go with the Fantasea because of the access to controls and locking mechanism.

If you want an aluminum housing I would recommend waiting until the Nauticam is out in order to compare it with the Recsea, Patima and Isotta and so youcan make an informed decision.

I also like the fiber optic cable connections. I know from previous items bought the msrp on the site is much higher than the purchase price.
