Mea Culpa!

I stand(sitting actually) corrected:

Gymnachirus melas
North American naked sole

A rose by any other name!
We need to do the east side more but never seem to do it.
Vaguely remember some naked sole pics from the original BHB thread but didn't look that cool.
Kev you might check Emerald Charters, RJ has put me on the Goliath's before.
John

On Monday we were in the general area begining our search but there was a photog there with a BFC killing time just waiting for us to move along so we did. Thought it might have been your contact so thought he could do the work and maybe we would get the intel.

A "he" would be wrong gender. I'll give it the college try tomorrow.

SHOCK and AWE!!!!!

Anne DuPont and her book on all things nudie;
Caribbean Sea Slugs; a field guide to the opisthobranch mollusks from the tropical northwestern Atlantic

Great find.
John

can find it in the book (seems to be pretty common) but dang if I can recall the name.. Starts with an O. Or was it an A? sigh...

Here is my surprise of the day.. A banded jawfish that came out of his hole to spit debris on his neighbor.

Was deff a he! So someone else is hunting there. Speaking of hunting we saw a couple of guys lobstering under the west span. :-(. Wish you well on the search. Conditions should be good.

Kevin - I have an "offsite luncheon/appointment" tomorrow afternoon.

I won't get up there until long after you're in the water, but afterwards if I see you in the p-lot I'll share some general location intel. Wouldn't want to spoil your thrill of the chase.

jet

Can anyone *really* be as sweet as miss jet seems to be?? :D

Looking forward to it. Would love to hear more about yer trip.

You can lobster hunt? Jim and I saw some monsters on the last night dive.

Which reminds me, I need to call FE to put my name on the list for next Monday.

Thank you!

I love those green nudis, but never seem to be able to go slow enough to look at each leaf so I haven't seen one in person yet.

Jim, Mike & I are already on the nite dive list. So get on the list and we will dive and then go to the super secret Brass Ring for a burger and a reeb. As for the lobstering at BHB wouldn't that be like killing and eating your pets? Besides I wouldn't want any of my fellow divers see me do it. I'll pm you with more info.
