Since OceanEdge Outfitters no longer distributes Santi drysuits, does not anyone which company has obtained the distribution rights? Anyone also know how this affects the service and repairs of Santi Drysuits? I have always received excellent service from OceanEdge Outfiters and would hope that this would not change with the new organization. Also, perhaps someone can shed some light into the reasons for this change.

I'm pretty positive they still sell SANTI and i'm positive they still service them.

Here's a link to their public statement... Dear_Valued_Customers

It says...
"March 09, 2014

Dear valued customers and fans,

We regret to inform you that effective immediately, we will no longer be distributing SANTI Diving Equipment in the United States. Unfortunately, this is outside of our control. SANTI has chosen to take a different path of distribution that we are not electing to be a part of.

We want to thank each and every one of you for the amazing support that you have showed us over the last 3 years!

We will continue to offer "manufacturer quality" drysuit repair on all brands of drysuits and continue with North American distribution of parts and service for rEvo Rebreathers.

Thanks again for your continued support!

Management,

OceanEdge Outfitters"

What path is that if I might ask? I'm guessing an ugly one.

PS That sucks...I like you guys.

Wow, I had no idea. The timing seems odd too, with BTS in a couple of weeks. Something a little Fischy going on?

I'm sure we'll never know but I'm curious what caused the end of OOs relationship with Santi.

Many of us feel the same. I know Wayne and Jason well and believe that over the past three years, they have done a stellar job of building the brand and delivering a high level of customer service.

I don't know the OO guys that well but in the few dealings I have had with them they have been very helpful and professional and seem like stand up guys. Speculation, but I can't imagine them doing anything untoward to end the relationship which leads me to believe Santi did/wanted to do something that didn't sit well with OO. Anyway, it's certainly a shame, good dealers/shops etc are hard to find. We need more of them not less. Santi, I hope you're playing nice.

Yup. In addition to two Santi suits, I have bought a bunch of other stuff from those guys over the years, plus training. First rate, all the way.

Hey, it's more important that their kids go to college than mine...
