I was diving Devils Eye on Tue 1-17 and accidentally left two O2 bottles on platform near to parking.
Went to get fills and they were gone when we returned. Am pretty sure no one accidentally picked them up as I have contacted everyone I knew diving that day. Two 40vCu ft Al bottles one yellow and one brushed Al. Silver had atomic 1st and 2nd. Yellow had Scuba pro MK25 1st and s600 and G550 2nd's
Tanks were from Cave Excursions and any info can be forwarded to them or call 760 831 1521 Thanks for taking the time to read this.

And yes, I have checked in with all the appropriate places someone would drop off tanks accidentally taken. Cave Country, EE and Ginnie dive shop

Check with Wayne Kinard too. He's over at Amigos Dive Center in Ft. White. He's a great guy and will keep a look out for you too. Hope they turn up.

Disgusting

Sarcasm ON " Was this in Bonaire " Sarcasm OFF... It sucks when divers steal from other divers... Not like the old days...

Yet another reason I have zero interest in cave diving, sprinkling tons of expensive gear like a trail of bread crumbs across the cave floor and praying nobody has sticky fingers, especially if I'm on the inbound leg and am counting on those 'deposits' of life support gear to make it back alive on the outbound leg!

Possible this was not other divers, but other Ginnie visitors, since the bottles were not in the water. The locals have learned oxygen is great for a hangover!!!

OTOH, local traffic is rather light mid-week in January so it's less likely to be locals than at other times.

Either way, good luck to the OP getting them back, I am still hoping it was a misunderstanding!

If they were stolen it was most likely non-diving locals who go to Ginnie to drink, party, and tube on the river. Ginnie Springs is notorious for locals stealing unattended dive gear or gear in the water near the cave entrance. CDF has plenty of threads about this going back many years.

Cave divers in general are extremely good about getting all types of lost gear back to its rightful owners and will often go well out of their way to do so. :)
