Best Exchange rate I've seen posted today is 18.65 to 1 US Dollar. Don't get hung up on 20-1 and maybe the Trump bounce has gone away.

I undertand yesterday the Mexican government raised it's overnight bank rate 0.5% to help curb inflation and the lower USD to MXN rate could be the result.

The Oanda exchange rate is currently posted as 19.8299 to one. I expect my Schwab ATM card to produce pesos at the Mega ATM's @ a rate near 19.68 to 1 USD, and pickup the fees. Will test it out on Sunday.

Well that's good to hear... Maybe the first time in a decade my loading up on Pesos prior to departure to spend on our next trip thinking the exchange rate could never get any better will pay off for once!

How true every time I load up the next time I go back they are worth less then I payed for them. Finally thought I was going to break my loosing streak and showed restraint and didn't stock up when they were selling at 21.5 last month

Isn't that just the way it always is. Still... it makes every trip back "seem" that much cheaper as you have that hoard of Pesos in your pocket to spend!

The OANDA currency exchange numbers peaked @ 21.9211, on 19 January. Yesterday they were posting a rate of 19.7266 at the close of business.

It is not so much as a drop in the USD but a rise in the value of the Peso (MXN)
