Looks like the Perdix AI is available from Scuba.com but that the price with an Aqualung? transmitter is $1464 and with a Shearwater? transmitter is $1525. Price from DGX with transmitter is $1184. Unless there is a problem in the ad I was sent, what the heck?

Very good question! I just bought one for my boss from DGX - (well, I should say, that my boss tasked me with buying him a computer on his dime) and guess what I chose to spend his money on?

I was all set to find out what was needed to be your boss...until I saw he tasked you with the chore and it was on his dime.

Ha Ha! And he is a billionaire with his own custom dive boat- complete with compressors and luxurious overnight accommodations for 4 of us when we decide to do multi day dive trips. I am pretty spoiled-- even if they aren't my dimes :)

Perfect...I will gladly take a job there, thanks for asking! :p

Buy from Diveseekers - $935 for the Perdix AI and $240 for the Shearwater Transmitter = $1175 complete!

Shearwater Perdix Ai Dive Computer Buy at DIVESEEKERS.com 888-SCUBA-47

Likewise, $1175 from Amazon via a dive shop partnership and no shipping or sales tax.

Same here. $1,175 on Amazon, no sales tax. It was actually sold by Austin's Diving Center. If had come from Amazon corporate, I would have been charged sales tax.
