Anyone diving during the eclipse?

I thought it'd be fun to write a Solar Eclipse Diving specialty.

Diving during partial eclipse? Or only during totality?
If partial, only one dive per eclipse? Or multiple dives per eclipse?

Diving during totality could be interesting... I imagine a typical daylight dive with a couple of minutes of night diving thrown in in the middle of the dive!

The eclipse here started at 1:03pm and just ended now at 3:42pm, but is only partial with 80% coverage. Will have to wait for 2024 to be in the path of totality. Will apparently have over 4 minutes of darkness locally for the 2024 event!

Only partial here as well. I was on the tractor mowing our 6 acres with 2 sunglasses on just in case.

Actually, Mermet Springs was doing something of the sort today. They're located in extreme southern Illinois.

Why the sunglasses?
