anyone have experience with this in the Ikelite housing?

Looks like a good camera and I like the compactness and value of the Ikelite housing. How good is the 18-55 STM lens with the stock dome port?

I am going to upgrade from a G-12 in Ikelite housing. Tired of the epic shutter lag and no TTL in manual.

The other camera I have considered is the Oly Omd-em5 mk ii; I borrowed one more. January and really liked it with the 8mm fisheye, but to build such a system would be kind of cost prohibitive, given that we shoot Canon on land and have a lot of good glass.

Thanks for any insight.

Nice 9ly.

Which 10mm? The Canon 10-18? And which port? The stock Ikelite SL2 dome?

Check your PM for details.

Canon 10-18 stock dome . Need to use different zoom gear .

Are all of those pics with the 10-18? I am amazed at the shrimp, espuif it was shot without a macro lens. How fast is it? Do you appreciate any shutter lag?

Thanks Oly

I shoot the SL-1 and really like it. No shutter lag is awesome, no more missing shots of frog fish yawning, and no more trying to anticipate the movement of something. I still can't figure out how to manual white balance for video, but I'm notoriously stupid at tech.
