I'm looking to finally evolve from my growing pile of paper log books. I'm looking for an electronic log with the following features:

-iPhone app & online account so I can update on the go or at my desk

-functionality for listing weights, gear, notes about UW photography, etc. (I mostly use my logs to reference things like "how much weight did I wear with [gear setup] two years ago?...")

-an SAC calculator or other similar feature would be cool but not required

-ability to upload data from a wide array of dive computers. (my current Mares Puck Pro doesn't work with any current apps but I'd like to be able to upload directly from whatever my next computer is.)

Any recommendations? I also made a poll using the top few hits on the Apple app store.

Not sure which one is best. I use “Dive Log” which ticks all your boxes and works very well. Having said that, you should probably add Subsurface to the list too.

I use MacDive. There is a desktop version, an iPhone version, and an iPad version and they all sync via iCloud. The developer is fantastic about updates and feedback. I had an issue with a wonky dive log that resulted from a faulty Shearwater Teric. I emailed the developer and he got back to me right away and had a fix for the problem shortly after that.

Of course, it is Mac-only.

I use subsurface but it is not a phone app

subsurface mobile is available for android and iphone and syncs with subsurface on your computer
Wow I didn’t know. When was that available ?
