I enjoy seaweed in my diet. The diversity is amazing, colorful, tasty, and supposedly good for you. I just ran across a recipe for pickling palm frond kelp, banchan style. The search for palm frond kelp is on!

Which brings me to this post. Gooseneck barnacles came up during my search for that seaweed as they both live in similar tidal conditions. Now I'm interested in gooseneck barnacles. Below is a good video of them being responsibly harvested:
