I would like to find a portable gas analyzer. One that will allow me to test for O2, CO2and CO in tanks before I dive.
I am in the Philippines and lets just say that sometimes quality control here is not as good as it could be.
I have seen 40 Nitrox tanks lined up but we could not dive with them because someone misplaced the one O2 meter at the dive shop.
I wonder about the CO2 and CO concentrations, in many cases parts and supplies are simply not available and a shop may go longer than they should between maintenance of their compressors and other equipment.
I can find lots of O2 sensors, and some that will check for CO or CO2 but not one that will check for all three gases.
I'd go up to $US 500 for a good quality tester.
Anything other that I should /could be testing for? I don't dive trimix but do use Nitrox sometimes.
