Recently, a friend of mine found this set of tanks at a yard sale. He picked them up for $5 and gave them to me as a gift. They appear to be Luxor al30s. But the interesting part is they are in a set. The manifold (maybe) appears to be cast aluminum. They were build in 88, viped in 89. They look to be in great shape. I know they are probably not serviceable, but I have been trying to determine what their purpose was, other than holding air :). Thanks for any info you can share.

Should get you about 40c/lb iff you can remove that valve.

Sucks about the alloy. But still, would be a cool display for a showcase type reg set.

Well, since i have $0 cash in them, I'm in good shape!

Any idea why it was setup this way? Doesn't seem to make much sense.

Or if you don't want to put them in service... Let me know (I might piss of the wife and try to buy the manifold off you!).
