I will be 67 in July. Got certified in June, '14 just 3 weeks before my 58th birthday. I now have 300 dives from quarry diving in west-central NC, diving off-shore in NC and SC as well as Caribbean diving plus a trip to Fiji. We (my wife got certified in '15 at age 56) dive primarily from mid May thru late October but would go some place warm during the winter if we had the opportunity.

54, originally certified when I was 20 but just got back into diving a year ago after a 24-year break (which I really regret). I love seeing all the folks in their 70’s who are still going at it - that’s the dream.

58, got certified at 52, and just became a PADI divemaster.

NC and St. Lawrence wrecks, cold water NE shore diving

Warm water in Asia, Mexican cenotes.

Iceland this
Wow Iceland. 🥶 I imagine that's drysuit weather?

56... and diving (on and off) for 35 years. Mostly local (cold water) diving, some with light deco. Maybe some day I'll return to warm places. Most of my recreational diving is done with double hose regs.
I've always wanted to buy a DHR. Probably a bit hard to get parts to maintain and service them?

I fit the demographic, but not the experience: 60, newly certified OW last summer. All my diving (a whopping 18 dives!) has been in Minnesota's cold waters: mine pits, lakes, Lake Superior. I'll get to the tropics eventually. Looking forward to diving into my elder decades...

60, certified in ‘88, mostly summer New England Diving with trips to warm water as a yearly treat.
I go for the little critters, so not diving deep or high current, just easy, shallow and long dives for photography. I figure I’m good for a lot more years diving at this easy pace.
