How deep was this shark? I only have ever heard of people getting pictures of this very rarely sighted shark in a DPV vehicle. There is a company that runs trips to view the sharks. I saw a flyer for it about it like 5 years ago. Poor picture quality but I understand that is very difficult to get these images. So for "degree of difficulty" I give you an 8!
This was shot at about 70ft. We too were a bit surprised to see it at this depth but we had heard that others had seen but not photo'd it.
And yes, conditions were about as bad as can be for photos PLUS we had one real light between us as my buddy's cannon is in the shop. Hey, I am very happy with the way things went. She let me hang with her for 10 minutes. I have a very short video segment as well and it is even more murky, but definitely a keeper!
