Bay Islands or Playa del Carmen?

Hi,

Which location offer "better" diving? I'm interested in seeing healthy reefs, big schools and biodiversity. I've done all my diving in Indonesia, South Africa and Mozambique. Thanks.

Bay Islands. You will see much bigger schools and a greater variety of species. Go with a smaller dive shop if you really want to have longer and more up close and personal time obseving the critters.
