TO: All 2009 IADRS Conference Attendees

We look forward to seeing you all in Charlotte, NC soon and wanted to provide each of you with updated information.

The latest conference itinerary can be found online at: http://www.iadrs.org/media/Itinerary.pdf

This year will be different from other conferences since we are conducting “hands on training.” One of the venues consist of pool demonstrations and we are asking ALL participants to bring a swim suit and consider department issued coveralls or other comfortable wear for the lakeside demonstrations.

IF you have room in your carry on bag or checked luggage, please pack a conventional face mask that fits you well and, if room allows, fins that can be worn over dry suit boots.

We are excited that teams from 19 states, Canada, the Netherlands and Ghana (Africa) are attending this year. More registrations are being received each day and we are looking forward to one of the best conferences ever.

Please travel safe and contact the IADRS if you have any questions or concerns.

Regards,

Any info on 2010? Any chance of classes then too? I'm about 8 hours away but used to live there. :)

Blades, thanks!

We moved a few states away and I'm just getting started with the local team. Good leader, his 2nd is enthusiastic, and the members I've met seem to have a lot of experience. I've sent the conference link to the CPT and will see what he recommends I pay the most attention to.

Of course, if I could talk them into wearing FFM. :D
