Is it allowable for an SDI Certified Instructor to affiliate with more than one shop say one here in the states and one in the Carib like Bonaire or Caymans? Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this is more of an IT issue than a standards issue. We have a number of SDI OWI who teach and certify out of two or more facilities. With the current database, the instructor will only be able to register students onLine through one facility, but traditional fax/mail registrations are perfectly acceptable.

Cannot raise our IT manager for the definitive answer this afternoon, but he is currently beta testing a new dB and I think it has the capability for an SDI leader to be registered with multiple shops.

BE MINDFUL though of 1/ insurance. Better to have your own rather than shop insurance if you are going to teach in many locations. 2/ business model of the SDI facilities you intend to teach for... make sure they are cool with it and #1 is taken care of.
