Is night diving allowed at Old Garden Beach?

The sign at the beach ramp says no, if I recall correctly, but I've certainly made several dives there that ended after sunset.

Legally, they can't forbid the access to the beach. If I remember correctly... But that doesn't mean we should be courteous and make sure we do not make noise and speak loudly when it's getting dark out there, after all, we all want to enjoy this place, being a diver or a local

Same here. I've done many night dives at OGB and have to agree the locals are great.

The sign ONCE said no night diving (it wasn't legal). It's since been changed to simply remind divers to be considerate at night (soft voices, no slamming car doors, and no drying off dust caps with a blast of gas from your cylinder valve would all be appropriate).
