will apeks tx50 1st stage work with poseidon jetstream 2nd stage?

Providing the IP can be matched I see no reason why not.

No problem at all putting a Jetstream on any 1st stage you like.
In fact a few years ago the Jetstream was sold mated to a Sherwood 1st stage and called the Sherwood Ultima and Dive Rite also had one on one of the generic Apeks copies.
The IP is not an issue.
One thing to note is you should use the proper hose that comes with the Jetstream.
No problem at all putting a Jetstream on any 1st stage you like.

If using a metric hose you will need an adaptor to the 1st stage.
