Diving two different computers - got "Suunto'd" - and a whale shark

If you want your two computers to be closer on NDL, run the Perdix with VPM-B (probably around +3). It won't be exact but at least it will reduce the discrepancy caused by a Haldane Model versus a Bubble model :) Anyway, you'll never have your two computers to match but the idea is to follow the first that reach the NDL.

The important point here is not to know which one will reach 0 first, but where is the whale shark :)

Exactly, that is the reason why you want to have two reasonable computers that allow you to dive within your limits!
 
Same deal with us. Oceanic as main, Zoop as back up. Typically, on a 2 tank day, the Zoop stays on the boat for the second dive, because it likes to be bad.
I'll eventually just get a second Oceanic.
