Just found a price for Toronto to Bonaire on Sunwing's website. $595 return CDN $ in January - (that's about $450 USD).

Lucky me. I guess my family and I will just have to go back to Bonaire again this winter.
Not to gloat, but from Toronto, there is non stop service to Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize, Curacao, and now Bonaire as well. It sorta makes up for the long, cold winters.
