This is from a local Minnesota lake. It is on a training platform in 20' of fresh water and the water temp is 64 f. I would estimate them to be 3/8" diameter and 1 1/2" long. They were not there two months ago, or so small I didn't notice. Pictures are in ambient light. Anyone know what these are?

I am going to say they are some type of colonial tunicates (sea squirt). If have two siphons, that's what they are, but I am no expert.
