marsa alam 19th october 2017 for one week

i have read as many threads as possible and have followed up a few leads ..but thought to quickly ask the community - myself and my friend arrive marsa alam 19th october and want to spend the week diving - we need accommodation (preferably cheap of course!) and we need to identify a dive school .....we are toying with the idea of just arriving in resort and sorting it out when we get there ...but then this could lose us some time (for diving ).....does anyone have any recommendations - either an accommodation/dive package or two separate 'packages'

Still no plan? I have good experience with Red Sea Diving Safaris and would reccomend their Marsa Shagra camp. They have great guides/instructors and a very nice house reef which is excellent for courses.
