Canon G16 with Meikon Housing Flash Question

Anyone have experience with the Meikon housing and does the flash work okay without the canon diffuser?

Anyone have experience with the Meikon housing and does the flash work okay without the canon diffuser?

The meikon housing has its own diffuser so I am confused why you are asking about a canon diffuser.

The meikon diffuser works as well as any canon housing diffuser - poor at close distances (think macro) sometimes okay further away.

The lens port is long enough to be a major obstacle for even flash distribution.

I use strobes so the diffuser performance does not matter to me. The on board flash performance is poor.
