If anyone is looking for an alternative to a hotel or AI resort I can highly recommend a condo at Palmar.

My friend Tom has lowered the rate on his 3 bedroom 4 bath condo.

He has a last minute availability from Nov 27 - Dec 12

I have stayed here many times as have some others here on SB.

This is a very well cared for condo with all the amenities you would expect.

Oceanfront corner unit with balconies off every room except baths.

We have stayed at Palmar condos for three months at a time. I highly recommend any condo available to rent there. It is a safe secure building. The pool is never busy and the gym is very nice. Also you can drink the water and flush toilet paper in the toilet.

Really enjoyed our stay at Palmar as well a few years ago. Nice condos and short walk to get picked up by dive boat. Only downside was it was a bit noisy, but with the cruise ships not around I'm sure it's much quieter.

Hmm, I'm looking for a place for the wife and I for January and February..wonder what kind of rate they would offer?

contact Tom with your dates and he will give you a quote.
some dates might already be booked but he will let you know.
warning staying here might be habit forming.

You might also be able to meet the mayor Pedro Delbuois as he lives at Palmar.

@lionfish-eater , do you have any idea how reliable the internet is here?

We stayed at Palmar for a total of eight months and never had any problem with wifi. It was dependable and fast. The condo we stayed in also had free calling to the US which was nice. Someone mentioned noise. We never had any problems with noise. The months we stayed were January to April and August and September.
